Description

This is a complete dashboard installation kit specifically designed to install a standard single DIN aftermarket stereo into the first-generation BMW MINI (R50, R52, R53 models) produced from 2001 to 2006.

The kit's core component is a black replacement fascia trim panel that fills the space left by the factory radio and provides a perfectly sized opening for a new single DIN head unit, ensuring a seamless, factory-fitted appearance.

Kit Core Component:

  • Main Trim Panel: Color-matched black fascia designed to integrate with the MINI's dashboard contours.

Essential Accessories (Sold Separately):
For a fully functional installation, you must purchase additional components based on your vehicle's specifications:

  1. Wiring Harness (Choose One Based on Your Car's Plug):

    • WH521: For vehicles with a 17-pin round plug.

    • WH522: For vehicles with a 40-pin plug.

    • For Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Retention: More advanced harnesses are required (e.g., CTSBM003.2, CTSBM004.2, CTSBM009.2, CTSBM011.2). Note: Most require the additional lead CTMULTILEAD.5 to retain SWC.

  2. Antenna Adapter (Choose One):

    • AD010: Old Euro Aerial Adapter.

    • EU10: New Euro Aerial Adapter.

  3. Steering Wheel Control Interface (Choose One if required):

    • AXSWC: Axxess Universal SWC Adapter.

    • UNI-SWC.3: Connects2 Universal SWC Adapter (requires CTMULTILEAD.5).
