Enable a seamless, integrated installation of a modern double DIN head unit in your 2007-2013 BMW 1 Series (E81/82/87/88 chassis). This specialized dash kit is designed exclusively for models equipped with automatic climate control and without the factory navigation or iDrive screen system. It provides a perfect, factory-like mounting solution that preserves the vehicle's interior aesthetics while allowing for a significant infotainment upgrade.

The kit includes the contoured black fascia panel and necessary brackets to replace the factory radio panel, creating a flush, OEM-looking double DIN opening. It's the essential hardware foundation for adding a touchscreen multimedia receiver, CarPlay, Android Auto, or enhanced audio features to your 1 Series.

  • Specific Vehicle Configuration: Designed for BMW 1 Series with Automatic A/C and without Navigation/iDrive.

  • Note: All wiring harnesses, interfaces, antenna adapters, and steering wheel control modules are required for full functionality and must be purchased separately.

Required Accessories for a Complete Installation:
To ensure full functionality and retention of vehicle features, you must select the correct wiring interface based on your 1 Series' specific audio system and desired feature retention.

  • Steering Wheel Control & Integration Harness (Choose ONE based on your system):

    • CTSBM005.2: For vehicles with a Non-Amplified (standard) audio system. Provides basic steering wheel control retention.*

    • CTSBM009.2: For vehicles where retaining the audible parking sensor warnings (via an included speaker) is important, along with steering wheel controls.*

    • CTSBM012.2: For vehicles with the factory MOST Bus fibre-optic amplified (25-pin) audio system.*

    • Important: All interfaces require the CTMULTILEAD.5 programming lead for steering wheel control retention and system integration.

  • Steering Wheel Control Adapter: AXSWC (Axxess) or UNI-SWC.3 (Connects2, requires CTMULTILEAD.5).

  • Antenna Adapter: EU10 (Euro-style antenna adapter for BMW).

  • BMW 1 Series (E81/82/87/88): 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013

  • Crucial Requirements: Must have Automatic Climate Control and NO factory Navigation/iDrive system.
