Description

This European Late Model 14MHz FM band expander is designed for European vehicles from approximately 2003 onward that use a square-style aerial connector. The compact box unit (32mm x 22mm x 15mm) allows your factory European-market radio to receive the full Australian FM band by applying a 14MHz frequency shift. It features the correct square European plug, providing a complete plug-and-play solution without needing extra adapters or wiring.

How It Works & Important Notes

  • Frequency Shift: The expander subtracts 14MHz. To listen to a station (e.g., 102.7 FM), tune your radio to 88.7.

  • Display Unchanged: The radio's display will show the dialed frequency, not the actual broadcast frequency. Manual calculation is required.

  • AM Unaffected: AM radio reception remains unchanged.

  • Potential Overlap: Strong local stations within the radio's original limited range may still be received if no station exists 14MHz higher.
