This is the new, updated design (2023) Mongoose remote control, part number MRC60-901-G. It features a modern look, a green LED, and operates on the 433MHz frequency. This model replaces the older MRC63G and MRG63G2 remotes and is the current standard for compatible Mongoose M60 series alarm/immobiliser systems that use the 433MHz frequency.

Core Function & Important Notes:

• Updated Replacement: This is the newer, styled remote that supersedes the older MRC63G and MRG63G2 models. It provides the same functionality with a refreshed appearance.

• Requires Programming: This remote must be "code learned" (memorised) into your specific M60 security system to operate. It will not function straight out of the box.

• Erases Existing Remotes: The programming process deletes all previously stored remotes from the system's memory. You must re-learn every remote you wish to use during the same session.

"Code Learning" Programming Instructions:
To program this new remote (and re-program any existing remotes), follow these steps precisely:

1. Disarm the system using an existing remote or your PIN override.

2. Open the driver's door and leave it open.

3. Turn the vehicle's ignition ON and OFF three times (ending in the OFF position). The siren will give a single chirp to confirm entry into "learn mode."

4. Press the ARM button on the first remote you wish to program (including this new one). The siren will chirp once to confirm.

5. Repeat Step 4 for a second remote (you must program at least two). You can program up to the system's maximum (typically 4).

6. Wait 10 seconds without pressing any buttons. The siren will chirp again, indicating the learning process is complete.

7. Test all remotes to ensure they lock and unlock the system.
