This is a genuine Mongoose MRC83G replacement remote control, featuring a green LED and operating on the 303MHz frequency. It is specifically designed for Mongoose M80 series alarm/immobiliser systems manufactured from 2009 to mid-2011.

Core Function & Important Notes:

• Replacement/Additional Remote: This remote is sold as a replacement case with electronics. It must be "code learned" (memorised) into your specific M80 security system to operate; it will not work out of the box.

• Frequency-Specific: The 303MHz frequency is allocated for vehicle security use in NZ. Using a remote with the incorrect frequency will result in no operation.

• Replacement Case: A replacement plastic shell is available separately under Part# 242183.

"Code Learning" Programming Instructions:
To program this new remote (and re-program any existing remotes you wish to keep), follow these steps precisely. Entering this mode will delete all previously stored remotes.

1. Disarm the system using an existing remote or your PIN override.

2. Open the driver's door and leave it open.

3. Turn the vehicle's ignition ON and OFF three times (ending in OFF). The siren will give a single chirp to confirm entry into learn mode.

4. Press the ARM button on the first remote you wish to program (including this new one). The siren will chirp once to confirm.

5. Repeat Step 4 for a second remote (you must program at least two). You can program up to the system's maximum (usually 4).

6. Wait 10 seconds without pressing any buttons. The siren will chirp again, indicating the learning process is complete.

7. Test all remotes to ensure they lock and unlock the system.
