Mongoose M80 3-Button Remote (Red LED) | 433MHz Frequency

This is a genuine Mongoose MRC83R replacement remote control, featuring a red LED and operating on the 433MHz frequency. It is the current standard remote for Mongoose M80 series alarm/immobiliser systems manufactured from mid-2011 onwards. It is also compatible with M80II and M80GII models.

Core Function & Important Notes:

• Replacement/Additional Remote: This remote is sold as a replacement unit. It must be "code learned" into your specific security system to operate; it will not work out of the box.

• Frequency-Specific: The 433MHz frequency is the current NZ standard for vehicle security. Using a remote with the incorrect frequency will result in no operation.

• Erases Existing Remotes: When you enter programming mode to add this remote, all previously stored remotes are erased from memory. You must re-learn every remote you wish to use during the same programming session.

Programming Instructions:

For Standard M80 Models:

1. Disarm the system using an existing remote or PIN override.

2. Open the driver's door and leave it open.

3. Turn the ignition ON and OFF three times (ending in OFF). The siren will chirp once.

4. Press the ARM button on the first remote. The siren chirps once.

5. Press the ARM button on a second remote. The siren chirps once.

6. Wait 10 seconds for the process to complete.

For M80II & M80GII Models:

1. Disarm the system and open the driver's door (keep it open). The dashboard LED will flash fast.

2. Within 10 seconds, turn the ignition ON. The LED will glow solid for 10 seconds.

3. Within that 10 seconds, turn the ignition OFF then back ON. The LED stays on and the siren chirps three times.

4. Press button 1 on the new remote. The siren chirps once.

5. Press button 1 on a second remote. The siren chirps twice.

6. To finish, turn the ignition OFF or wait 10 seconds. The siren will chirp quickly three times.
