Description

This Late Model Nissan 10MHz FM band expander is designed for Nissan vehicles from approximately 2006/2007 onward that use the gray rectangular antenna connector. The compact unit (32mm x 22mm x 18mm) allows your factory Japanese-market radio to receive the full Australian FM band by applying a 10MHz frequency shift. It features the correct Nissan-specific plug, providing a complete plug-and-play solution without needing extra adapters or a separate power wire, as it draws power directly from the radio.

How It Works & Important Notes

  • Frequency Shift: The expander subtracts 10MHz. To listen to a station (e.g., 98.7 FM), tune your radio to 88.7.

  • Display Unchanged: The radio's display will show the dialed frequency, not the actual broadcast frequency. Manual calculation is required.

  • AM Unaffected: AM radio reception remains unchanged.

  • Potential Overlap: Strong local stations within the radio's original range may still be received if no station exists 10MHz higher.
