Description

This Late Model Nissan 14MHz FM band expander is designed for Nissan vehicles from approximately 2006/2007 onward that use the gray rectangular antenna connector. The compact unit (32mm x 22mm x 18mm) allows your factory Japanese-market radio to receive the full Australian FM band by applying a 14MHz frequency shift. It features an integrated bypass circuit to maintain power to the vehicle's antenna amplifier and draws power directly from the radio, requiring no extra wiring. This plug-and-play solution provides complete access to local FM stations.

How It Works & Important Notes

  • Frequency Shift: The expander subtracts 14MHz. To listen to a station (e.g., 102.7 FM), tune your radio to 88.7.

  • Display Unchanged: The radio's display will show the dialed frequency, not the actual broadcast frequency. Manual calculation is required.

  • AM Unaffected: AM radio reception remains unchanged.

  • Potential Overlap: Strong local stations within the radio's original range may still be received if no station exists 14MHz higher.
