The DNA-TY-6 is a specialized antenna adapter designed to connect an aftermarket car stereo to the factory antenna system in specific Toyota vehicles from approximately 2009 onward. This adapter addresses a unique connector variant, providing the correct interface where a standard or reverse-pin adapter does not fit, ensuring your new radio receives optimal AM/FM reception.

Key Features & Specifications:

• Vehicle Compatibility: Specifically engineered for select Toyota models from 2009 and newer that utilize a distinct antenna plug style, often identified as the opposite or alternative to the TY-7 reverse-pin connector.

• Connector Types: Converts the unique Toyota male antenna plug to a standard female Motorola (universal) antenna socket.

• Core Benefit: Enables a direct, plug-and-play connection between your Toyota's factory antenna cable and the universal antenna input on virtually all aftermarket stereos, restoring full radio functionality.

• Correct Fit Solution: This adapter is essential for vehicles where the more common TY-7 adapter is not the correct fit, solving a specific compatibility issue in certain Toyota models or production runs.

• Essential for Installation: Without the correct antenna adapter, your new stereo will be unable to connect to the car's antenna, resulting in no AM/FM radio reception.

What's in the Box:

• 1 x DNA-TY-6 Antenna Adapter Cable.

Important Note:

• Critical Verification: This adapter is for a specific Toyota antenna plug variant. It is crucial to physically check your vehicle's factory antenna plug and compare it to the adapter before purchase. If the TY-7 does not fit, the TY-6 likely will.

• Complete Installation Kit: This is an antenna adapter only. A full stereo installation will also require a compatible Toyota wiring harness and dashboard installation kit.
