This Late Model Toyota/Lexus 14MHz FM band expander is a compact, tube-style unit designed for 2010 and newer Toyota and Lexus vehicles. It allows your factory Japanese-market radio to receive the full Australian FM band by applying a 14MHz frequency shift. The unit features the correct vehicle-specific plugs and an integrated bypass circuit to maintain power to the factory antenna amplifier. How It Works & Important Notes

  • Frequency Shift: The expander subtracts 14MHz. To listen to a station (e.g., 102.7 FM), tune your radio to 88.7.

  • Display Unchanged: The radio's display will show the dialed frequency, not the actual broadcast frequency. Manual calculation is required.

  • AM Unaffected: AM radio reception remains unchanged.

  • Potential Overlap: Strong local stations within the radio's original limited range may still be received if no station exists 14MHz higher.
