The Late Model Toyota/Lexus 14MHz Twin FM Band Expander is designed for 2010 and newer Toyota and Lexus vehicles with twin diversity antenna systems. It expands the FM tuning range of Japanese-market factory radios to receive the full Australian FM band by applying a 14MHz frequency shift. This plug-and-play unit features the correct factory connectors, providing a complete, no-cut installation that eliminates the need for separate antenna adapters.

How It Works & Important Notes

  • Frequency Shift: The unit subtracts 14MHz. To listen to a station (e.g., 102.7 FM), tune your radio to 88.7.

  • Display Unchanged: The radio's display will show the dialed frequency, not the actual broadcast frequency. Manual calculation is required.

  • AM Unaffected: AM radio reception remains unchanged.

  • Potential Frequency Overlap: Strong local stations within the radio's original range may still be received if no station exists 14MHz higher.
